HI ANY SUGGESTIONS RE FOLLOWING DASHBOARD SCREEN OPTION FAILURE. one suggested solution: 0 down vote Right click on the webpage select |inspect element|. Then select console. Check if gives any error which says jQuery is missing. In my case jQuery files were missing in WordPress migration which I had to add myself. -1 down vote It's a jQuery problem. Hi Received undelivered mail message referencing Dreamhost. I tried contacting them as a nonmember using each of my three email addresses response was I am a member try control panel.Response from Control panel, no record of my email addresses or incorrect password,then I tried proceeding to reset password all three entered individually either no record of email or incorrect password. Okay now,dream host does not show in firefox preferences security saved passwords nor in edit preferences security saved passwords. How to I contact Dreamhost re: sporadic mail nondelivery issue? Hi I am a little wobbly on this one and could use more illumination. I just had a wordpress website replaced with a parking page,the email now does not seem to work. 1.)"CMS as Wordpress, Joomla and others may resolve incorrectly if you point a domain to them via CNAME. As they are highly dependable on the domain these websites were developed for, by default, they are not suited to work under 2 or more different domains." APPARANTLY;SINCE IT IS NO LONGER POINT TO WORDPRESS THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE ISSUE. 1 RIGHT OR 2 WRONG? 2.)It is not recommended to set up a CNAME record for a naked domain (@ or domain.com) as it will make other records for your domain (such as MX or TXT records) invisible. As a result, the mail service will stop working, and the emails will not get delivered properly. programming course this weekend - help with installfest?

Dear nmglugers, thanks for those who have donated laptops for the programming course. I will be teaching on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, as usual, it would be good to get some help with the "installfest" with which I start the course. I will have 8 or more students with random old laptops and we need to quickly get them installed. I will have a large stash of DVDs and USB sticks with anything from Ubuntu 12.04 i386 to Ubuntu 16.04 adm64. If anyone feels like helping kids install GNU/Linux on Saturday morning, consider showing up at 10am on Saturday! I will urge the kids to show up early so as to get the installation part going. No audio

Hi; Several months ago I decided to make my ubuntu desktop lean and efficient. The main consequence: i have no audio. Pulse Audio shows only Dummy Output. I made attempt to reload program,still not audio. Speak Soothsayers and Thanks. Anthony
