Frames of capped honey for sale

Hello all, I unfortunately lost my hive to varroa mite this week. The population had been robust so they left me with two full supers of capped honey. I still have honey left over from last years harvest and do not need more. If anyone would be interested in buying medium frames of honey please let me know. I am not trying to make a big profit or anything, but I do want to cover the cost of the frames and then a little extra. Some of the frames are foundation-less, others have black foundation. If you are buying packaged bees this spring, having honey ready to go for them would be better than feeding them sugar water or if your bees have eaten through their winter stores this would be perfect for them. I know the main concern for folks would be if the honey had spores of foulbrood. I can assure you my bees died from a varroa infestation. I have pictures and video to show the sad truth. There are additional topics on the Senate Rules Committee list for this scheduled meeting so the NM PPP may be heard at any time in the line-up. For reference: The NM POLLINATOR PROTECTION PLAN MEMORIAL is an initiative that encourages education and outreach for supporting healthy pollinator stewardship. Hi. I am an old beekeeper from my Peace Corps days in South America and am hoping to get a couple of friends started in beekeeping in the Espanola area (though I live in Denver). Just doing some initial research into resources and SDC Beeks is one of the first places I've looked at. It's been a very long time since I have kept bees and my current living situation in Denver does not allow it. So there's probably plenty I've forgotten and plenty of updated resources and information I'm not aware of. We are looking to get my friend going the very first part of April with a hive, probably using top bar. Hello and Happy New Year!! My name is Beth King and I am planning on starting a couple bee hives this year. I recently purchased a home on 3 acres along the banks of the Rio Chama. I have been working to restore the property to a more native habitat. I have been clearing invasive plants and seeding with native grasses and flowers, trees and shrubs. My progress has been slow but I’m proud of what I have done thus far. I have begun raising chickens for egg production and love them. They follow me all over the place. I’m pretty sure that I am the head chicken that looks like an odd duck. My next goal is to start the hives and harvest my own honey. Additionally, I am hoping they will help fertilize my meadow flowers, etc. I want to be successful and have begun studying beekeeping. I am excited to begin and would be immensely grateful for all the information and help your members may provide. Thanks and I’m looking forward to meeting new folks. Beth Sent from my iPhone
