KR, It was a no go. We gave up. the older HP did not start up, only kept trying the media mode looking for a cd to play. Only 512 of ram, no look at bios or anything on the screen. Mark will use a different machine for this student. I let him know that you will miss this session of his class. Thank you, Ted P.
