I think it's probably okay to share this, he emailed me directly: It's a GeForce GT 755M Mac Edition that was actually already using the Nvidia 390.138 proprietary drivers. Not the newest, but should be good enough to give the mobile GPU it's full potential. I was expecting something a bit older too from Nvidia, I thought Apple ditched Nvidia a while ago. I think the 2013 uses a 9400 nvidia which the standard drivers for nvidia will work. But if the Mac mini is a 320 nvidia that needs the legacy nvidia drivers. Not sure those work on the 20.04 Ubuntu variances. Might not be worth it for the old drivers.
