I've found that the $6 per month is pretty standard across the hosting industry. Some are a little cheaper, like Dreamhost though. If you want to keep it in NM, there's a few hosting providers in the State that I'd recommend. Brownrice.com and BigByte.cc. Though, I'm not sure what they cost or how they do it. Google workspace is starting to charge us legacy users, $6/month/user. Hopefully, I am only one user.
I use it to provide mail for my business domain (not this one). The MX goes to google. At this time, the mail provides IMAP for one actual e-mail address, and a couple of forwards.
Can anybody suggest a hosting service which can do this at a low price, besides Dreamhost? I use Dreamhost for this domain, and wish to remain diversified.
