Hello nmglug'ers,I am a member of the Northern Colorado lug and I put linux on the machines of two older ladies who live in Santa Fe.Frankly, I'm pretty pleased the machines have continued to work for over two years unsupported. One of them needs some help, her firefox is no longer supported and she is also getting an apt error message. Is there a chance she could get some help at one of your meetings?Failing that, is there anyone local I could refer her to? Thanks in advance-Joel Nevison

If she can get to Warehouse 21 (our Santa Fe meeting place) next Thursday evening, we of course would be glad to help her. If her needs are more urgent, have her email me (and perhaps others may also be willing to volunteer) if she can (or call, +1(505)982-2472) and I will get in touch and figure out a place and time to meet with her, update Firefox, and at least see what the source of the apt error might be. Thanks, —Arlo James Barnes

We were able to resolve most of the errors Liz was seeing using an update-upgrade. As for getting Firefox (which was also updated) configured how she would like, and to address the future EoL of 14.04, we arranged a follow-up with one of our members, and invited her to come to any future meeting. —Arlo
