NMGLUggers, I will try to be bright and on time to the meet up tonight via the web. Our Governor has highlighted Pandemic problems nationwide and local, so I, for one, will not be interested in face to face [mask to mask] meetings for awhile. I am still having fun with updates/upgrades. Can comment tonight. Thank you, Ted P.
Totally not GL but there seems to be more time on my hands so I installed Haiku on a VBox machine. It's like a "way back machine"! I'm playing with it and it seems robust enough to run some software so I might use it for writing short stories, etc. A sort of private nook. Very weird OS (from BeOS) but fun. Take care Ted and everyone practice safety. This is the beginning of a brave new world I believe. Brian On 7/2/20 11:23 AM, Ted Pomeroy wrote:

I keep hoping someone will post a link for the virtual meeting. Have I just missed it? On Thu, Jul 2, 2020 at 12:16 PM Brian O'Keefe <okeefe@cybermesa.com> wrote:

If anyone in the SF area wants to go drink beer and discuss GNU/Linux (unofficially, not the GLUG), then please email me ... or the group. Go Free Software ... JMH On 7/2/20 5:05 PM, J. Marsden DeLapp wrote:

Geoff and I were on jitsi around that time. Must have just missed you. We were hooking up a very nice wireless system at https://www.cafecitosantafe.com in preparation for when physical meetings resume. There is a beautiful patio that boasts lots of fresh air and open space ;-)
With the meeting time specified as 5:30 to 7:00 I didn't bother to try the link. I hope I can catch a virtual meeting or two before it's over. Santa Fe is too far away. On Thu, Jul 2, 2020 at 10:08 PM jason schaefer <js@jasonschaefer.com> wrote:
