Version control of binary files in Dupver and Go programming
Hi, I was originally thinking to do a git-annex demo this week, but I've recently released version 2.0.1 of Dupver, so I thought I would do a demo on that and talk a little bit about programming in Go. For those who weren't around last time I'd demo'd it, it's a simple version control system I'd written in Go for handling binary files. Repo link here: https://github.com/akbarnes/dupver Best, -Arlt
Thanks, Art. I guess that is a start. I wonder if there are any other interesting Open Source topics or questions people are dealing with. I have helped another person get into Ubuntu Linux and keep an older, but adequate computer going. See you at 5:30 pm, MST today. the Meeting link is at nmglug.org - Virtual <https://nmglug.org/locations/virtual/>. Thank you, Ted P On Tue, Jan 18, 2022 at 7:45 PM Art Barnes <art@pin2.io> wrote:

I've spent the last few days trying to get a digital camera to work as a webcam. It's supposedly possible with gphoto2 + ffmpeg + v4l2loopback, but I haven't gotten it working so far, so I'll most likely be on the same old crappy laptop webcam. A Go demo sounds interesting, as do things like git annex/dupver.

Isn't the meeting tomorrow? The website still says Thursdays. ...Akkana
