Hello! 👋🙂 First time using a mailing list, ha! I just moved to Albuquerque in the last few weeks, and I wanted to check out your group. I've been using Linux as my daily driver for a few years, and I'd like to help more people use it. I tried to join yesterday's meeting through the Jitsi link, but no one let me in. How can I participate with your group? 🤔 Thanks, - Evan
Honestly, this is IMHO the best way to communicate with the group.  "Evan" FiresideEnthusiast@pm.me – June 19, 2026 at 7:22 AMÂ

During COVID the group met pretty regularly over Jitsi, but that stopped after a few years. Now I think they're meeting in Santa Fe but I'm not sure how regularly; the in-person meetings aren't usually announced, so for folks who aren't in Santa Fe (I'm in White Rock) there's no way of knowing if there is or isn't a meeting coming up, or where it might be. But questions on the mailing list usually get an answer, even if the response was a little slow this time (sorry). ...Akkana Loach writes:

The Santa Fe in-person meetings are very regular. Usually about 3-5 folks most times. Jonathan On 6/20/26 4:20 PM, Akkana Peck wrote:

I see! It's a shame the hybrid option has faded. I don't know how often I'll be able to drop in in-person. 🤷 I'll keep in touch with the mailing list though! Thanks, - Evan On Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at 7:01 PM, Jonathan Haack <jonathan@jonathanhaack.com> wrote:
