Howdy

Has anyone run Guix? I discovered it looking for Gnu Hurd distros. There aren't many and they don't work but Guix has a linux kernel or Guix running on Hurd. I downloaded the Hurd version and got a live qcow image that I could run on Qemu but that I couldn't install. I tried repeatedly but couldn't even get the Hurd version running again. I gave up and downloaded the .iso for Guix/linux. It is now downloading many packages in a VBox VM. The .iso wouldn't finish installing with Qemu, my preference, so I bailed on that.

Anyway I thought some might find it interesting and maybe someone can get the Hurd version up and running. (It ran fine the first time and I liked what I saw)
