Hi Brian,

If I can't tell if the router is at fault, or if the issue is further down-stream, I typically use traceroute to see where the drop-off happens.

sudo apt install traceroute

traceroute google.com

Also, you might be able to use hotspot on that Samsung Galaxy phone.
