Cool, glad to help out. If you can, before the meeting on Thursday, let me know which version of Windows you have on the ASUS (Windows 7 maybe?), and if the machine is 32-bit or 64-bit. A model number would help too. Short of all that, I'll just come as prepared as possible. We'll be using a Linux CD to make the changes, fyi, so we're still on topic for the list I believe. ;-)

You can easily boot off of a live CD to delete the Linux partition. Then a quick fix of the boot manager and you'll have a full Windows machine again. Bring it to the meeting (yep, 6:30pm @WH21). I'll bring what we need to get rid of the Linux for you.

Just curious, which password(s) did you lose? Linux, Windows, BIOS, or Hard Drive perhaps? They can all have separate passwords, and some are harder to retrieve/reset than others. You can probably still keep the Windows on there, or do whatever you feel is best for your machine, once you have the password reset.
