I use my Chromebook exclusively ( almost ). I have enabled the Linux Development Environment and so use it for all my shell related activities, including running Docker containers. It’s not perfect, but 99.99%+ of the time it works good enough.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend the meeting as I have scheduling conflicts. But I’d be happy to answer any questions you post to the list.
Regards,
- Robert

Hi,
I’m up for in-person again this week (which I guess would make the Oct 13th meeting virtual if we follow the monthly pattern). The ThinkPad x280 from last meeting is going to my in-laws who are visiting, so I’ve ordered a secondhand PixelBook Go for myself to run Linux in containers (Crostini). I recall someone else on the mailing list having good luck with the Linux experience under ChromeBook - not sure if it was running native or the Crostini container experience. With a little luck from the shipping gods it should show up just before the meeting.
Best,

I have not changed to meeting announcement on the webpage, but we might consider that. Due to my personal health issues I may not attend this week's meeting.
