This morning I went into my top bar hives to treat for mites with strips. As I got into the hive, I found that there was a good supply of honey (approximately 5 top bar frames). In addition, with the wet monsoons this year, the bees are still harvesting Russian sage, Spirea, and now rabbitbrush. II last harvested a little honey,, two frames, in early August. I am thinking of harvesting some more honey around October 1. Is that to late here in Santa Fe? Thanks, Hugh
