Hi everyone,
I wanted to offer a quick moment of calm after the last thread. It’s clear that Sommer shared the article because it affects bee research, and Pete responded from a different perspective. Karolyn reacted to the tone. John reminded us that sometimes we all hit “send” a little too fast. All of that is human.
Before anyone steps away for good, I hope we can remember why this group exists in the first place: to help each other keep bees alive in a world that isn’t making it any easier.
Email lists don’t always convey tone well, and most of us are far kinder in person than our keyboards make us sound. A single sharp reply doesn’t define anyone here, and it doesn’t have to define the group.
If we can give each other a little grace, I think we’ll all be glad we stayed connected. This community has always been strongest when we share information freely, ask questions openly, and assume good intent — even when we disagree.
Wishing everyone gentle spring inspections and calm hives.

Hang around Karolyn sometimes individuals hit the send button without thinking things through (I know I have).  I also know Mark, and he's a big boy, and I'm sure most comments roll right off his back.  Unfortunately, and I firmly believe that our current state of affairs breeds hostility and spending a lot of time focusing on the negative is very unhealthy,  Peace

Thanks all. I am unsubscribing now and blocking as spam. Who needs this kind of rude unpleasantness?!? A kinder response could have been given after a breath and a thought.

Diktats on?  This is public radio propaganda and not appropriate for this forum.  Keep you political opinions to yourself.  This forum is about bees, not politics.
