Hi all,

for some unknown reason, my one bee colony split and swarmed this afternoon. most luckily, we watched it happen and were able to catch the swarm in a nearby tree. quite the adventure, i must say!

the hive i bought from someone last year unfortunately proves not suitable, hence i am looking for a solid top bar hive (including bars and lid that fit properly) at a decent price, ideally to be picked up tomorrow in or near santa fe.

anyone has a hive for sale?

or other ideas as how best to deal with this situation?
