Hello SDC members,
We will be having our second SDC Beekeepers meeting of the 2026 season Thursday April 23, starting at 6:30 PM.  Our meetings are held at St John’s Methodist Church located at 1200 Old Pecos Trail…..in the Choir Room.

On our agenda:
	Turning One Hive Into Two….How to Split Your Hive(s)
	Swarms….How to Prevent Them and How to Catch Them if They Do
	Varroa Mites - Testing and Treatment

As well as any issues members want to discuss.

Once again we will be offering an early session from 6:00-6:30, dedicated to new beekeepers who can benefit from more basic information about hive inspections and such.  Everyone can choose to come at either 6:00 or at 6:30.

As always, there will be free smoker fuel available to all attendees.
