Re:  Part-Time Beekeeping Apprentice / Non-Classroom Environment

Seeking someone who is genuinely interested in learning about keeping bees.  Your motivation should be focused on acquiring meaningful beekeeping skills and knowledge via hands-on activities within the bee yards.  Maintaining nucleus colonies, introducing queens, and manipulating hives for honey production are some of the skillsets.   I’m not looking for an experienced beekeeper, but rather someone with a strong desire to learn while working amongst the bees.  This opportunity is extended to anyone with a keen interest in learning how to keep and maintain honeybees in a sustainable environment.  The position is a non-monetary working arrangement for either person, as I am more interested in sharing what I know professionally as a just reward.  Seasonally: March 2024 through September.  If interested in a mutually beneficial approach to beekeeping, please respond by email and share some of your interests and background.
